After being discovered dancing at an Atlanta nightclub, Paul joined a male strip group and began traveling across the country. He quickly discovered what it was like to be surrounded by thousands of women, treated like a celebrity, and make serious money from stripping.
He eventually won a national Battle of Burlesque competition and became Mr. Burlesque USA in 1980.
